Tennis


We have earned the reputation as one of the finest and most active tennis programs in Westchester County. Our USPTA Certified professionals offer exceptional instruction for all skill levels, and plan a busy events calendar that includes MITL matches, interclub tournaments, adult and junior clinics and junior camp. We play on 12 immaculately maintained Har - tru courts, and our newly renovated tennis facility offers beautiful locker rooms, our Pro Shop, and a bar, lounge and patio for socializing.

Swimming


Coveleigh’s celebrated swim and dive team offers its younger members the chance to compete in the Westchester County Swim Conference. Our swimmers and divers develop and refine their techniques under the guidance and instruction of our highly talented swim coaches. Children of all skill levels will spend the summer developing team spirit and having fun, while practicing their strokes and dives in our new heated pool. 

Youth Program


Kids love Coveleigh Camp! Housed in our newly renovated, air - conditioned Carriage House, kids aged 4 -12 years choose from electives including archery, scuba diving, sports, cooking, tennis, kayaking and more. Led by the very popular Mr. Brett Reilly and our dedicated camp director, Ellie Speros, Coveleigh Camp is quickly becoming known as the best summer camp on the Sound! Equally popular is our Junior Tennis Camp, led by our exceptional head pro, Andrea Bonfigli. Players of all skill levels have fun, make friends, compete in league matches and improve their game.

Lawn Bowling


Lawn bowling is unique to Coveleigh Club, and all of our members enjoy this spirited, multi - generational sport. Our celebrated lawn bowling green is busy with league play, tournaments and lessons for our summer camp teens. Our devoted lawn bowlers host many social events and welcome anyone new to the sport to come out and join the fun!

Social & Dining


Members enjoy year - round dining with spectacular views of Long Island Sound in both our elegant dining room and our picturesque West Porch. For a more relaxed, family - friendly experience, members convene in The Cove Restaurant and Bar. In the summer, we choose from three waterfront dining venues: The Cove Patio, The Peningo Cafe and our newly expanded Boardwalk. Our renowned Tiki Bar offers cocktails on the Sound, and is by far our most popular summertime gathering spot! An exciting, active social calendar keeps members busy and entertained all year long.

Our History


The Wainright family originally owned the Georgian mansion and waterfront property that are now Coveleigh Club. Leased as a club in 1933, Coveleigh's history spans eight decades during which time we have added boating, a lawn bowling green, additional tennis and paddle courts and, in 2016, a new waterfront swimming pool. Coveleigh's history with its beautiful buildings and grounds make it one of the most attractive clubs anywhere and a strong, dedicated membership will take Coveleigh into the future. It's a great place to be!

Pool & Waterfront


Located on Long Island Sound, our members spend their summer days on our private beach and pier, and engage in waterfront activities including paddle boarding and kayaking. Coveleigh is a registered yacht club and members have exclusive access to our moorings and boat dock. In 2016, we became the envy of neighboring clubs when we enhanced our waterfront with our new state - of - the - art heated pool.
